The United Nations General Assembly First Committee Disarmament and International Security Committee is one of six main committees at the General Assembly of the United Nations. The committee focuses on disarmament and international security matters.
Disarmament and Security Committee (DISEC) is the first General Assembly Committee of BALMUN’24 and it will be concerned with two topics “Preventing an arms race in outer space” and “Forestalling Nuclear Proliferation”. Therefore as the DISEC, we will be aiming to find sustainable solutions for the both agenda in BALMUN’24
